On our average day we have 5 or so customers.  Which means that we have hours and hours with no one wanting shave ice.  So, if you drive by and there is no one in the stand, that's because no one wants to sit there for hours at a time.  But, we are watching and when we see someone who looks interested Virginia goes out immediately.  If you want shave ice and we are all set up, stop and someone will be there to assist you immediately

New cups

We decided to order small flower cups to match our large flower cups.  Because of that order, we have decided to change our rates.  The small fry it is now $3.00 and the Sockey (which is the same size of the previous Chinook) is $4.00 (which is what is was before).  So really prices haven't changed much just that we have small flower cups and no small size for 2.00 any more.

Introducing 11 new flavors.

We had a couple of requests for bubblegum and one for peach and then we decided to throw a few more onto the order for fun.

Since we are having questions as to what Haupia and Horchata are here is an explanation:
Haupia is a traditional coconut milk-based Hawaiian dessert.
Horchata is the name of several kinds of taditional beverages made of ground almonds, sesame seeds, rice, barely or tigernuts.

As mentioned, we are going to be offering 48 flavors soon.  We currently offer 16 flavors.

Before we can offer these new flavors we need bottles to put them in.  We have been purchasing Torani bottles from Hammer and Wikan, and using their syrup in our home, then filling the bottles with our "best in the industry" syrups for our shaved ice.

We would like to put the offer to anyone who uses Torani syrups that we will trade your empty bottle for 1 FREE shaved ice.

That's right, 1 empty Torani bottle for 1 FREE shaved ice.  This offer will stand until we have enough bottles for our new flavors.

We have been delighted with our syrups.   You never know before you make an order, but we had it on prior experience and good authority that they were the best in the industry.  We haven't been disappointed nor have our customers.   We believe that our current 16 flavors is nothing to feel bad about but then again we wouldn't feel bad about more flavors either.  So, we are pleased to announce that coming soon 48 flavors will be available only at Global Warming Alaskan Ice!
